This is a really cool desk! As the name alludes, the desktop literally “floats” up as you pull the lever. No power is required, so you can literally put it anywhere; you don’t have to be close to an outlet. Humanscale is a leader in ergonomics and we use many of their products ourselves every day.

I prefer electric as I find the floating/tension option a little finicky… And can be less expensive. But sometime electric just isn’t an option.
