Went in to get a desk chair and there were several people working and not one greeting and no help was asked. Wandered around for a good half hour before a man from the back came out and helped me and he was very helpful. Customer service is lacking.

Had an exceptionally great experience with Blair's atWork. I purchased a new HON Ignition 2.0 off of a Wirecutter recommendation and it was available for pickup the very next day. We recently purchased new furniture for our home office and we couldn't be happier with both the furniture itself and also the sales and service we received at atWork.Mark and Karissa were very attentive in determining our needs throughout the design and sales process - talking us through a few different options and giving us pointers as we went along. The renderings that Karissa made were extremely helpful in visualizing the various desk/furniture options in our space.We were also impressed with the scheduling, delivery and setup by Eric's team as they worked to accommodate our schedules.And to top it off, the price point was reasonable, leaving us feeling that we got good quality for our dollars.

When we reconfigured our office space to bring in new staff, we needed help. We appreciated the expertise offered by Lovers, to show us how best to use our space, find suitable, affordable desks and provide storage solutions. Also they showed us the importance of having chairs that suited each person and we ended up purchasing those as well. We were able to sell back some of our old pieces as credit toward our purchase. I have shopped here on two separate occasions. Initially instore for a personal purchase, I was greeted warmly and treated with friendly, respectful professionalism. I received a quality chair that the salesperson helped me choose and I am so happy with the purchase over a year later. My second interaction was for business use and my interactions with the salesperson (Aaron) were strictly over the phone and via email, but he was still so helpful, polite and professional! Aaron was able to help me identify the right products for our needs, in our price range and make all the appropriate arrangements for delivery and set-up as quickly as possible to help facilitate our timeline.

I went there for the first time in November 2022 and I should have gone before. They carry products from many great companies and you can find a nice and solid desk there. Many choices of new and used desk onsite or tons of choices of that can be order and customized. I ended up choosing desks and accessories from Belair a Canadian company out of London, I was able to see the colors onsite before I order.I am waiting for the product to be delivered but so far my experience with atWork was great !

Is it possible to feel so enthusiastic about an office furniture store? These folks are amazing - a small, tight team operating a showroom up in Vaughan. They accommodated my need to kick a few tires at the height of the pandemic, and despite me going in for a fancy Herman Miller chair I wound up leaving with their house brand, the ICON Architect. The chair was super comfy but after a couple of years started to exhibit a bit more signs of wear than I had expected. They offer a very generous warranty and I called them up last week expecting to be put through the RMA mill and at best, being sent some new bolts for the chair. Instead, they facilitated the easiest ever warranty service I've received. They contacted the manufacturer and had a brand new, improved version of the chair brought in. The same person I filed the warranty claim with drove downtown and personally swapped out the chair for a *very* reasonable delivery charge. I am ecstatic with the service I have received and wouldn't dream of shopping elsewhere for my next office chair, desk, whatever... I wish they'd do stoves and fridges too 😂

Picked up a chair here. Salesperson A.S overcharged me, even though they verbally stated the price of the chair before ringing it up. Salesperson A.S also misinformed me of headrest compatibility with the chair I purchased. Are sales people here actually knowledgeable on the product they sell?My visit to collect my refund was much more pleasant, but I will not want to deal with the initial sales person again.The chair is comfortable.

I'm sure this store typically deals with corporate orders worth thousands of dollars, but despite this they treated my small order for my home office with care and attention.It took a while for a custom desk surface to be shipped from the manufacturer, which meant that by the time my order was invoiced some discounted items had gone up in price. When I called to pay the bill, Mark kindly honoured the original prices for those items. Great customer service!

Great value and customer service! I ordered an office chair for shorter people so it was a special order. The instructions that came with it did not match up and seemed to be missing parts. They sent a driver out within an hour or so and we went over it together. They agreed this was not quite right and took the chair back to investigate. Turns out the manufacturer sends universal instructions with no indication that there could be models differing from these "universal" instructions.. AtWork delivered my chair fully assembled to me the next day and emailed me the correct instructions for my specific model. Amazing customer service and a great product! After a lifetime of struggling with sciatica, this chair resolves all my posture issues. At 5' 5" I did not consider myself a shorter person, but this chair does the trick along with the footrest. It's definitely worth the extra money and I anticipate I will get longer use out of this chair than any other that I have owned before.

We have used Lovers atWork for many if our office furniture needs. The staff are friendly and helpful and work hard to ensure you have the best setup both ergonomically and visually. We have has Eric help us many times and each time he is great with communication and knowing what we are looking for. Even if some items are delayed due to Covid supply chain, Eric ensures you know the estimated timeline and in some cases personally delivers items to give it that personal touch. In Dec., I ordered a beautiful foot rocker, which was delivered in a couple of days even though it was during the Christmas rush. Sadly, because I have a computer desk with a pull-out keyboard shelf, the foot rocker raises my legs too high to fit under the desk, so I had to return it. The people I dealt with concerning the return/refund were very friendly & amazingly understanding in our email exchanges. You can tell how well a company is run and whether its staff is valued by how customers are handled so all I can say is atWork must be a fabulous place to work. I so wish I could have kept the foot rocker, if only to support this fabulous company! Continued success in all your endeavors.

These desk chair plastic wheels are absolutely amazing. I would buy another set if they were made available as I do have another chair at home that would benefit from these wheels. They are much easier to maneuvre than are the standard double plastic wheel attachments on business desk chairs.

I recently purchased a pneumatic standing desk from atWork and it's perfect! I specifically wanted a pneumatic desk just because from my research, it's much faster to raise and lower compared to electric or crank standing desks, it's still functional during a power outage and it's much more flexible in terms of placement since it's not restricted by power cords. Another major selling point was the fact that it has WHEELS so it's even more flexible and manoeuvrable. This is especially important for me because space in my room is limited but working from home all the time, I nonetheless needed a decent desk and being able to easily roll it around as needed in order to access things in the room or create more space is amazing! The atWork team were so professional and contacted me immediately after I placed my order to let me know what to expect in terms of shipping time and to provide their contact information, if needed. The information they provided was very clear so I didn't need to follow-up and delivery was prompt and easy. The day before delivery, they called me to ensure that someone would be around to receive the package and carried it right to my door. Assembly of the product was also straightforward and no parts were missing or defective. I am VERY happy with my purchase and would recommend this company to others, especially those working from home. Thank you atWork team for quality service for a quality product!

The client service from AtWork was great. HOWEVER, the package I received directly from HON's chair factory (located in the USA) was damaged during transit which caused a long delay with FedEx, and they wouldn't tell me why or when the chair would really arrive, the planned arrival date just kept changing from day to day. I spent many days trying to be home to receive the package. Fortunately, the chair survived the wreck. But HON really needs to step up with their packaging, it's simply not adequate.

I helped my mother purchase the HON Ignition 2.0 Office Chair through AtWork, and it was a fantastic and stress-free experience from start to finish. I was skeptical at first because they offer it at the only reasonable price in Canada that I can find, but there were very few negative reviews about AtWork as a company; after ordering through them, now I can see why.Here's how my experience went:- The timeline was established clearly before I had made my purchase, and didn't change or experience any delays despite the issues everywhere (such as the flooding in BC making shipping slower.)- We were contacted as soon as the order had been placed to confirm, and were given contact information in case we had any questions or concerns about the process, the wait, etc. We didn't need it because they were so effective, but it was nice to know there was the option.- When the chair arrived, the manufacturer hadn't packed it with the necessary support post. The delivery folks for AtWork checked the box before unloading off the truck to confirm all parts were there, so they were able to let me know about the mishap before it was even unloaded.- They offered to take the chair back completely until the post was available and reship it in full, but were very accommodating, and after finding one for me, delivered the post the next day.- The delivery folks and administration were all very friendly, professional, and courteous throughout the experience.Overall, I'm incredibly impressed with their customer service, accountability, and ability to deliver on their deadlines and promises! I'll definitely be ordering through AtWork again for any new office furniture moving forward.

I dealt with Matt Ottoway at At Work.What a great gentleman.He let me and my wife do the browsing.He didn't high pressure us one iota.I picked out a chair,bought it and had it delivered.Unfortunately the chair didn't work out and I had to return it.But there wasn't a hint of a hassle or any kind of balking.I got my money back and we parted with a if there was anything in the future he could do he'd be glad to help.That's classy and a place I would do business with again and would recommend YOU do business with.

I think brick and mortar stores are good, but Jeff's is the best! Just finished purchasing items from both clearance and new, and Debbie and Aaron don't just know everything about office furniture, they were kind, took time to really listen and we ended up really confident in our purchase. We were offered delivery, set up and assembly, in store partial assembly ... just felt that Jeff's had the ability to meet our needs regardless of what we wanted. Good to know they are local too!! They think they made just one sale, but I know I'll be back for more ;-)

I picked up a desktop in store because there wasn't a photo of the colour I wanted online. Customer service was good and the quality of the desktop was as expected (there were minor scratches on the edge aside from the below). The only thing I would note is to unbox and inspect your purchase within 24 hours. The warehouse people loaded the desktop into my car with a noticeable puncture on the outside packaging. I didn't think much of it since I assumed that they wouldn't have loaded a product that was potentially damaged. It wasn't until I opened the box at home that I saw that my desktop was damaged where the outside box was punctured. Based on the depth of the hole and scratch, the box must have been hit/dropped fairly hard to make a dent through the cardboard. It was past the 24 hour notice so I just built my desk.

It's been a long time since amazing customer service has impressed me. I was in the market for a chair mat and when I asked around, I was told there were a lot of awful ones out there. I found atWork Office Furniture and started chatting with Rodney on their great chat pop-up. I ordered the mat right away on the advice of the chatter. Once it arrived, I found there was a manufacturing flaw in it. (I was told this is very uncommon as they have been ordering from this company for 30 years!)After asking if I can fix this, the owner called me up and said he would replace it. They kindly delivered it to me before Christmas. I am very grateful that they got it to me before then. I was also looking for a chair and again, Rodney helped me by asking what I liked or needed in a specific office chair and he sent me a selection online. From the start of the sale, they sent me confirmations, updates and even a Christmas e-mail. A special thanks to Blair for extending fabulous customer service. Looking forward to getting a new/previously owned office chair from you soon. People, go and search their site as they have a clearance section and a few locations around Ontario.

They followed up quickly, kept me fully informed of delivery, and did a safe and professional job of delivery during COVID times. I'd recommend them and any future needs I have I'm sure to come back. Great service, and nice product selection with Canadian-made options. I was looking for a new desk table top and found atWork. They sell a nice variety of products. Unfortunately it seems most items are made-to-order, so there's a huge delay between ordering and shipping, but they're upfront about this and very clear. Customer support is super helpful, and the local delivery to Guelph went well -- they ended up delivering it 2 weeks early, which was wonderful. I'll definitely shop here again.

Large place with a good amount of options on new and used furniture. Sales staff were okay, they brought chairs from their own office for me to try that they didn't have on the showroom floor, however they didn't give me much information on each chair. It could be beneficial to explain features and details of products to customers, but that's just my opinion, otherwise a good place to get office furniture.

Ordered a Hon chair for home office, it came at a great price. They had to wait for a volume order for the item that is not normally carried in Canada so the order took a little while longer. Staff was very friendly and when my order came through a bit over a month it came pre-assembled. Not sure if their website was setup with individual buyers in mind, but it would be maybe nicer to have some sort of status updates on the account page. Overall though I got what I was looking for and delivery was free so no complaints. Clarification free delivery because I'm local to them.

Very happy with my standing desk and filing cabinet I ordered to help level up my working! There prices were decent but the quality seems amazing. These are going to last forever! Their communication was great throughout the process. A side benefit is they are a Canadian company and have a local warehouse.

atWork is a classic example of never judge a book by its cover. They’re not fancy, their website is definitely not as sleek as the big furniture brands - but their products and prices are top quality!If you’re looking to set up your home office in the post-pandemic era, I highly recommend you start with atwork’s refurbished Arron chair. Looks and feels brand new and is less than half the price of a new one.If you’re not sure what to buy, they also have a very helpful recommendations section on their website. I did my own research - and their recommendations are in line with those of independent reviewers.

Bought a table for my office. It came sooner than expected. Unfortunately it was not assembled and there were no pre-drilled holes for me to assemble. I contacted atWork and they sent someone that week to assemble it at no cost for me! It looks great! Excellent quality. We've had one in a different office for 15 years (Same one) and it stands the test of time!

This was a great experience. Love my new desk (Icon Straight desk with O legs). Putting it together was a simple task and the material is super strong. The O-legs are quite heavy and made from real steel. Delivery was amazingly quick and well communicated. Follow up and customer care is excellent. This was my first new desk ever, my old desk was bought used from the UWO in London - many decades ago. The desk is modern and the 66" width is now allowing me to run with two computers on my desk, as is needed during this work from home period. The height is just excellent and overall I am very happy with it.

Found these guys online during covid lockdown. So happy with the Belair Lite lateral filing cabinets I ordered! The delivery people were very efficient, courteous, and helpful. The filing cabinets look great in my home office and I’d highly recommend the product and Blair’s atWork to anyone. (FYI, if you have carpeting, you’ll need a little riser for the bottom drawer to clear the carpet pile if it’s high.)
